COVID-19

Like many organisations, ACDP is taking steps to ensure that we can deliver our core services in the face of the current COVID-19 outbreak, while doing everything we can to ensure the wellbeing of our staff.

We have made the decision to focus on our core activities for the present period in order to minimise the chances of disruption to our services.

Our core emergency disease exclusion capability will continue unaffected. Non-emergency exclusion testing will also continue, although timelines may vary a little from the usual, as circumstances dictate.

While import and export of animals is expected to be significantly reduced at present, quarantine testing supporting this will continue. Testing falling outside of these categories may be available, depending on specific circumstances, but timelines are likely to vary considerably. Please contact the lab for more information specific to your situation.

All visitors to the ACDP site are currently restricted. Accordingly, hand delivery of specimens, other than by arrangement for emergency disease exclusions, is not possible.
